About the event
The church feels increasingly at odds with the culture around us, and we're finding it more and more difficult to reach our neighbours with the good news of Jesus. Our 2024 Men's Conference will be seeking to help us bridge the gap and see new life come to Northants.
Come and join us as Matt Lillicrap (author of Reality and Other Stories) speaks on
“Connecting with Culture - transforming life around us with the Gospel".
Take part in bringing the gospel into our lives through group workshops and great worship.

Workshop Details
There will be the option of attending one of the following workshops.
Telling the Better Story: The story of God in a story-saturated culture
This will explore ways to engage with stories in culture and the ways in which they echo the gospel story. Every story we watch and read is subverted and fulfilled by the gospel story. This is a workshop helping people become apologetic and evangelistic cultural consumers. - Led by Matt Lillicrap
Telling the Better Story: Gender and Sex.
The bravado of the sexual revolution, with its call of freedom and liberated pleasure, has turned out to be a weak, vulnerable thing needing constant coddling by an army of agony aunts and sex therapists. This workshop explores how the biblical view of sex and marriage makes complete sense and serves human flourishing, whether we are single or married. - Led by Neal Kennedy.
Telling the Better Story: Culture Making
This workshop will explore how we can put God on display and can shape and form the culture of our lives, homes, families, and communities in a way which honours God. - Led by Mark Jackson
Telling The Better Story: Understanding Popular Culture
This workshop will help you seek out what is good and true and beautiful, and then unmask what is distorted and broken, and finally think through how the gospel fulfils the former and subverts the latter. - Led by James March.
When you book a place we will ask your workshop preference.
We will make every effort to enable you to attend your first or second choice.
We look forward to seeing you there!
